Mix and match earrings

Express yourself with these unique earrings by mixing and matching elements that speak to your creativity!
Easy earrings hero

The secret to these mismatched earrings? In each pair, only one element is different — whether it’s the color, the theme, or the shape of the dangles. If your style is conservative, you can make the change a subtle one, but make each earring about the same length.

SUPPLIES

  • 2 9 mm flower compo-nents, in two colors (Rings & Things, 800.366.2156, rings-things.com)
  • 2 6 mm round beads
  • 4 in. (10 cm) 24-gauge half-hard wire
  • pair of earring wires
  • chainnose and roundnose pliers
  • diagonal wire cutters

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1
1. Cut a 2-in. (5 cm) piece of wire. Make the first half of a wrapped loop on one end. Attach one loop of a flower component and complete the wraps.
Step 2
2. String a 6 mm bead and make a wrapped loop perpendicular to the first loop.
Step 3
3. Open the loop of an earring wire. Attach the dangle and close the loop. Make a second earring.
