Layered leaves earrings

Create a pair of cascading earrings with mixed-metal charms

When I saw these lightweight leaves, I knew they would be perfect for earrings. Their slender profile dangled from chain creates a beautiful trickle-down effect with lots of movement and texture. The leaves come in silver, gold, and copper finishes — use all three for subtle contrast and realistic variation.

SUPPLIES

  • 20 8–9 mm leaf charms in three finishes
  • 2 8 mm round crystals
  • 2 3–4 mm flat spacers
  • 4 in. (10 cm) chain, 3–4 mm links
  • 2 1 1⁄2-in. (3.8 cm) decorative head pins

  • pair of earring wires
  • chainnose and roundnose pliers
  • diagonal wire cutters
