Bold hexagons

Embellish these nifty beads with chain or crystal-studded links, or stack ’em like mini stone pavers. Try using two-hole honeycomb beads to change up the look in a whole new way.

  • 8 3 mm spacers
  • 5 in. (13 cm) 24-gauge half-hard wire

THREE EASY STEPS!

Bold hexagons step 1
1. Cut a 2 1⁄2-in. (6.4 cm) piece of wire. Make the first half of a wrapped loop on one end. Cut a 3-in. (7.6 cm) piece of chain. Attach the loop to one end of the chain, and complete the wraps.

2. String an alternating pattern of four spacers and three hexagon beads. Make the first half of a wrapped loop. Attach the loop to the remaining end link and complete the wraps.
Bold hexagons step 3
3. Open the loop of an earring wire. Attach the chain’s center link and close the loop. Make a second earring to match the first.
