August birthstone: Peridot necklace and earrings

I saw the peridot and periwinkle combination in a scene from the movie Alice in Wonderland and I’ve been wanting to try these colors ever since. This August birthstone project gave me the perfect opportunity. Just a few perky blue beads energize the simple green strands.
