Leafy greens necklace

A textured brass component updates a Y-necklace

I don’t plan my designs. Instead, I find inspiration in my materials — in texture, contour, color, and shape. For this necklace, the brass leaf component was the starting point. I punched holes in the leaves to make a connector, and then I paired it with Russian amazonite beads for a beautiful color contrast.
