Spirited sea glass earrings

Connect jump rings to create playful dangles in four easy steps

My love of tropical colors, beaches, and aquatic life inspired me to create these sea glass waterfall earrings. I made these lampworked beads with a warm glow of frosted color and paired them with silver to show off their beauty.

  • 10 12 mm sea glass lampworked beads, assorted colors
  • 10 10 mm jump rings
  • 2 7 mm jump rings
  • pair of earring wires
  • 2 pairs of chainnose or bentnose pliers

Step 4

3. Use 10 mm jump rings to attach the remaining beads to the previous jump rings, rearranging the beads if necessary so they fall nicely.

4. Use a 7 mm jump ring to attach the dangle and the loop of an earring wire. Make a second earring.

Arranging beads
Before you begin, lay out two columns of five assorted beads, balancing the color and shape on each side. The earrings don’t have to match — a witty mix of colors makes them more fun.
