These three colors — cyclamen opal, greige, and crystal metallic light gold — blend with mixed-metal accents and a sparkling clasp for a lush look.


  • 6 8 mm faceted triangle glass beads
  • 24–32 6 mm round crystals
  • 72–96 4 mm bicone crystals or Xilions, in three colors
  • 8 three-hole spacer bars: 4 silver, 4 gold
  • flexible beading wire, .014 or .015
  • 6 crimp beads
  • three-strand box clasp
  • chainnose or crimping pliers
  • diagonal wire cutters

Beads and spacer bars from Eclectica, Clasp from Claspgarten, Check your local bead store for supplies.

  • 32 cyclamen opal bicones or Xilions
  • 24 greige bicones or Xilions
  • 16 crystal metallic light gold bicones or Xilions

1. Measure your wrist and add 5 in. (13 cm). Cut three pieces of beading wire to that length. On the first wire, string the beads and spacer bars as shown.

2. On the second wire, string beads and the middle holes of the spacer bars. For the third wire, repeat the pattern of the first wire, stringing the third holes of the spacer bars. Check the fit, and add or remove beads so each strand is within 1 in. (2.5 cm) of the finished length.

3. On each end of each wire, string a bicone crystal, a crimp bead, a bicone, and the corresponding loop of half of a clasp. Check the fit, and add or remove beads if necessary. Go back through the beads just strung and tighten the wires. Crimp the crimp beads and trim the excess wire.

Lay out your pattern on a bead board first to make sure the beads and spacers are aligned.
