These shapely charms instantly call to mind La Tour Eiffel — well, at least to my mind. I’ve always got Paris on the brain. But this design won’t leave you sans options. Any long, lean charm or bead will vary the style of these earrings. C’est magnifique!

Supplies

  • 10 26 mm silver-plated drops ($6.50 for 6)
  • 3–5 in. (7.6–13 cm) chain, 3–4 mm links
  • 10 3–4 mm jump rings
  • pair of earring wires
  • 2 pairs of pliers
  • diagonal wire cutters

Step 1

Instructions

1. Cut a 1 1⁄2–2 1⁄2-in. (3.8–6.4 cm) piece of chain. Open the loop of an earring wire. Attach an end link and close the loop.

2. Open a jump ring. Attach a drop and the chain’s bottom link. Close the jump ring.

3. Use jump rings to attach drops at two- or four-link intervals (shown). Make a second earring the mirror image of the first.
