Peyote stitch: Increasing

At the point of increase, pick up two beads instead of one. Sew through the next bead (Figure 1).

When you reach the two beads in the next row, sew through the first bead, pick up a bead, and sew through the second bead (Figure 2). This is “splitting the increase.” Continue working in regular peyote stitch.
