Aragon weave bracelet

Create a row of color with this reversible chain mail weave

For the purpose of these instructions, the how-to photos show jump rings in three colors: Color A is blue, color B is red, and color C is bright aluminum. To make a bracelet with just two colors, use bright aluminum for both the color A and C rings.

Materials

Bracelet 7 1⁄2 x 5⁄8 in. (19.1 cm x 16 mm)

  • 40 18-gauge (1.22 mm), 15⁄64 in. inner-diameter (ID) bright aluminum jump rings
  • 18-gauge (1.22 mm), 3⁄16 in. ID jump rings
    • 88 color A, bright aluminum
    • 76 color B, colored aluminum
    • 78 color C, bright aluminum
  • 8 18-gauge (1.22 mm), 9⁄64 in. ID bright aluminum jump rings
  • 2-strand toggle clasp
  • 2 pairs of chainnose, flatnose, and/or bentnose pliers
  • Beading mat
