Tucson Gem and Mineral Shows, Day 2

This blog post is part of a series of reports by the staff of Bead&Button magazine, and Kalmbach Books during the 2017 Tucson Gem and Mineral Shows.

One of the great things about bead shows is the opportunity to see technique demos. Today at To Bead True Blue, I spent some time finding out about new products from some of the major manufacturers/distributors, like Starman, Toho, Miyuki, All Beads CZ, Bead Master, Impress Art, and The Beadsmith.

At this last booth, I was fortunate to see Deb Moffett-Hall, the inventor of the Endless Loom, which is a very handy device that lets you do loomwork bracelets and ornament bands without leaving lots of threads to tie in later. It’s really a clever design and it lets you create a regular bracelet with a clasp, a stretchy bracelet, or a wrap bracelet, all on the same device, in addition to bands for ornament covers. If you’re a Bead&Button reader, you may remember Deb’s nifty cardinal ornament from our December 2016 issue, which was made on her loom. Deb was kind enough to give us a little explanation and quick demo of how the Endless Loom works.

The Endless Loom is distributed by The Beadsmith, so if you are a wholesale buyer you can get it from them. If not, you can find it at your local bead shop or favorite online merchant.
