May the 4th be with you!

cassieandstarwars
Today, for all you Star Wars fans out there, Bead&Button is embracing the saying "May the fourth be with you."

Here is a clever idea of how to create jewelry with those tiny Star Wars figurines. We featured Pat Tyler's necklace "The Force is with me" in the "Your Work" section of the December 2005 issue of Bead&Button. Pat wrote that One day, after vacuuming up yet another of those these tiny figures, she turned to her son and said, "You'd better put your toys away or I'm going to make jewelry out of them!" Pat said that she uses charms a lot in her work, so it wasn't much of a stretch to turn the figures into jewelry by cutting off the bases and inserting a finding at the top. We love the fact that even 11 years after the publication date, Star Wars is still adored by fans everywhere! So may the 4th be with you!
