The Spooky Sparkling Spider

These creepy crawlies were originally created to decorate a Christmas tree! But what a great fit for your Halloween decorating.

spiderhero
In many parts of the world, the legend of the Golden Christmas spider says that each tree must have a spider to be complete. But this adaptable design would also be a good fit for Halloween decorations. Just paint the wooden beads black, and use coordinating colors for the netting and legs.
Tip!

Use this pattern to make a variety of spiders for Halloween. Paint the wood beads black and add a red hourglass to the abdomen to create a black widow; for a golden orbweaver, add some yellow stripes along the body!
